Alex is a designer and artist based in Melbourne, Australia.
Alex completed his Bachelors of Industrial Design at Monash University in 2013 spending his final Honours year developing MARS - Modular Artificial Reef Structure. The project won multiple awards and has been featured on BBC Earth, Dezeen, Australian Geographic, Popular Science Magazine, Discovery News, Huffington Post and CBS amongst others. The MARS design lead to Alex starting Reef Design Lab to continue the research into constructed marine habitats and to work closely with marine research organisations.
His personal studio is now combined with Reef Design Lab and are completing a variety of projects in Australia and abroad.
